I came to foothills physical therapy I believe in January (6 month process) with severe neck, pain and TMJ issues with my jaw clicking and making weird sounds. Pam and Chris took care of me. They used dry needling , which is basically acupuncture. And it WORKS GREAT. They gave me exercises to do at home.
I got physical therapy at Foot Hills, Chris Crowe wasn’t my therapist. I had a full reverse shoulder replacement, and several weeks of therapy with Chris. I couldn’t be happier with results.
The therapists worked with were knowledgeable and encouraged me to go further in my rehab than I would have on my own. They guided me to targeted exercises I need to get back to the activities I routinely do. I recommend this business to anyone needing to get back to an active lifestyle after a surgey, accident, etc.
I had an excellent experience working with Chris Fox as my physical therapist. He is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to truly understand what you’re dealing with. From the very beginning, he made me feel comfortable with his friendly and approachable demeanor.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
