Why Luna Acupuncture is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “ul children! -Sarina "Highly recommend!" Kari Ann is amazing! She is kind and caring and really takes her time to make sure she is doing what is needed. From the reviews

Five years ago, after a miscarriage and struggling with infertility, I went to Kari-Ann. My doctors dismissed my concerns and told me it was statistically normal, so it meant everything to have someone truly listen. Her methods worked, and I now have two beautiful daughters.

★★★★★ — Erin, Jan 2026

Kari-Ann is one of the most genuine person I have met. She graciously took me as one of her patients and has worked wonders for my everyday anxiety, stress and other random health related issues in the past. I appreciate having someone listen to me and what my body needs in every appointment I have with her.

★★★★★ — Madison, Sep 2024

I was very apprehensive about the thought of acupuncture prior to looking into a source for the care. However, Luna (specifically Kari and her entire staff) made the introduction to this treatment method an easy and a comfortable experience.

★★★★★ — Judy, Mar 2026

Kari is the absolute best. A couple of years ago, I would have never considered going to acupuncture. However, I have been trying to conceive for a year+ and have heard that there are many benefits to acupuncture. Not only have I really enjoyed the process, I more so love spending time with Kari!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
