From the reviews
Pari does a wonderful job. I always leave feeling relaxed. She uses the perfect amount of pressure. She really listens when we discuss problem areas that need to be addressed. She is very talented. The combination of reiki and massage is the perfect stress relief!
My consistent impression on walking into Pari's studio: she has created a supremely serene space free of outside interference. The colors are warm, the sound is neutral, the lighting is neither too bright nor too dim, and the atmosphere is the kind that I just want to take deep, cleansing breaths in.
Ever since injuring my back(slipped discs/pinched nerves) many years ago, I'm hesitant about massage therapists and chiropractors/always worried about aggravating my injury. I can honestly say that I have never before experienced a more helpful therapist, than Pari! She is extraordinarily intuitive..
No one compares to Pari. I started going to her years ago with tech neck issues ehich were due to working on a computer in a high stress job for years. Her deep tissue massage techniques, hot stones, and hot towels always made me feel and be so much better.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
