From the reviews
Lena is helping me with my joint pain for my finger from rock climbing. It has helped fix a lot of the inflammation and I’m still able to do the activities I love.
You should absolutely check out Lena Kim's acupuncture spot, especially if you're battling stubborn neck and shoulder pain. I was super impressed by how much Lena really digs in to understand what's going on with your pain. She mixes different techniques into your treatment.
I had an incredible experience at this acupuncture office! I went in for persistent back pain and honestly didn’t expect such fast and noticeable results. They used fire cupping, which I had never tried before—and I was shocked at how effective it was.
I can honestly say my experience at Lin Kim Acupuncture has been nothing short of recovery and healing. The care and attention are exceptional, and I’ve felt real improvement after my treatments. If you’re nervous about needles — don’t be. There’s virtually no pain, just a very light pinch that you barely feel.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
