From the reviews
This was hands down the BEST acupuncture treatment and service I’ve ever received. I injured my back mid‑week, and the pain became so unbearable that I was scrambling to find a last‑minute appointment near my workplace.
I’ve known Acupuncturist Yoo through KCS (Korean Community Services). He runs his own clinic, Hannah Integrative Health, and also works part-time at KCS. KCS is a large medical organization composed of a wide range of healthcare professionals, including dentists, psychiatrists, various medical doctors, and…
My acupuncture session with Dr. Milim Jeon, was truly amazing. She took great care of us and treated us with so much kindness. She is an exceptional doctor who genuinely cares about people. She gives so much of who she is—her knowledge, her heart, and her dedication.
Dr. Jeon is an amazing practitioner. I leave her office feeling brand new, as she helps restore my nervous system from any stress and body pain. She truly has a gift with being able to attune and identify how to best support your health to be able to function in a way that you’re not struggling to survive — but…
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
