after years of dealing with a sore shoulder and getting closer to asking for a cortisone shot, I decided to look into alternative medicines / treatments and after just 1 acupuncture session my shoulder stopped hurting and the next day i shoveled and spread out 10 cubic yards of gravel on my driveway without any issues…
I was sent to Holly in 2018 because I woke up one day and couldn't move my shoulder and neck from my muscles being knotted and tight. Upon meeting Holly, she also noticed that my walking stride was off and I kept my body hunched and twisted all the time. She fixed my shoulder and my legs that very afternoon.
Holly is the real deal. I visited her with on going neck and jaw pain requesting Cupping because I had not tried it yet. At my visit we spoke about my issues, previous treatments and Holly discussed with me what she thought would help. She ending up doing a mix of massage, cupping and acupuncture.
I highly recommend Holly for her amazing gift of acupuncture, massage and cupping. She has been a blessing in my journey to healing. I look forward to continuing my healing.!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
