From the reviews
I am grateful to Dr. James for the amazing care I received for pain management. The entire team at Klahanie Chiropractic is wonderful. Scheduling the appointment was easy and I was provided all the information I needed, before my first appointment. Dr.
I’ve had back and neck pain for 20+ years and I’ve seen all sorts of specialists during this time, including chiropractors, physical therapists, orthopedists, massage therapists, and more. Until I found James, I couldn’t understand what was wrong with me.
Dr James and the whole team is very professional. Dr. James knows what he is doing and has always improved the quality of my life by fixing issues as they arise. Something remarkable is that he definitely will treat each individual differently based on their needs. The care is individualized and tailored.
I recently visited Klahanie Chiropractic for ongoing lower back pain and neck stiffness. I’ve been going there on and off for years but with RTO I haven’t been going regularly. Whenever my symptoms flare up I can always trust the team to get me readjusted and feeling better.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
