From the reviews

I’ve seen Keagan twice now and both experiences have been wonderful. Her space is calm, welcoming, and very tranquil. She incorporates several techniques including deep tissue massage, cupping, and lymphatic drainage, and each session has been incredibly beneficial.

I recently had an amazing massage and I can’t say enough great things about it! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and relaxed. The atmosphere was peaceful, the room was perfectly set up, and Keegan truly listened to my concerns. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and completely at ease.

My experience at Kalmia Massage Therapy & Bodywork has been 5 stars. Keagan was fantastic. From start to finish everything felt calm, professional and very relaxing. I highly recommend the lymphatic massage if you have never had one. She massaged my abdomen which I have never experienced. It was not intrusive at all.

★★★★★ — Margo, Apr 2025

Keagan has an incredible understanding of the body and how to deliver an outstanding massage experience. I have followed her from her previous place of employment and am delighted to see her blossom into her own space. She has really created a beautiful and welcoming environment for her clients.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
