From the reviews
This was my first visit to the Exton location as well as my first time meeting Kelly. The office is impeccably clean and peaceful. Kelly and the other acupuncturist were warm and friendly upon my entry. They were both so happy and pleasant for an early Saturday morning.
Kelly is absolutely wonderful, she has an answer for every single ailment you can come at her with. Truly a lovely soul and Katie is always happy to assist when you arrive. Each time I leave, I cannot wait until my next appointment.
Healing Arts is great and Kelly is the best in this area for fertility-related acupuncture. I started with her earlier this year in preparation for an IVF cycle and saw her weekly through “graduation” from my fertility clinic.
Kelly was amazing. She performed acupuncture on my daughter—a 16-year old athlete who has been struggling with back issues. We're optimistic about the results, which we're still waiting to see how it all works.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
