What clients say about the cupping here
“Kim will listen to you & will go out of her way to figure out/customize the best therapy for your needs.”
From the reviews
If you're looking for a massage that's focused on your needs, then Unwind is for you! Kim is great at listening to my concerns or where I feel my trouble spots are and working with me! She is able to make me feel like a whole new person and I leave feeling like my aura has been cleansed.
I highly recommend Kim! I've been seeing her for several years. I work a very physical job with lifting, pulling, pushing etc.. My neck, shoulders & back take a beating everyday & I couldn't continue without her cupping/massages. The stiffness & tension in my muscles are immediately released with each visit.
Best massage you can get. Kim finds the problem and solves them. She will be pulling out different tools and techniques the entire time, and remember you for next time to know what works!
Kim does amazing therapeutic massage for a range of mental health and wellness needs. She listens compassionately and adjusts treatments as needed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
