From the reviews
I have been going to Empowered Healing for over a year and I have not had one bad experience. Each therapist has been amazing to work with and they really focus on your needs and healing. I am currently working with Molly and the connection she has made to help me heal has been exactly what I have needed.
I had a massage with Allie yesterday. She was amazing!!!!! Super sweet, she made sure I explained my goal for appointment & confirmed she understood what I wanted. She also matched my energy- if I spoke- she spoke- if I was quiet and relaxed- she let me rest. But MY WORD - did she REALLY work on my tight spots.
I booked a massage last week after receiving a gift certificate for my birthday. I really should’ve gone sooner because it was wonderful! The parking is very convenient behind the building, the staff were courteous and professional. The set up inside of the area is very calming and inviting.
Always amazing. I'm spontaneous when in pain and so far they've always been able to accommodate me within a reasonable time frame. The therapists are great. Jenni is fantastic and helped me determine best therapeutic method when needed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
