From the reviews
I had back surgery with a double fusion in February of 2024. My rehab was not going well. At the 5 month mark I still had considerable pain and was to return to work in 4 weeks. I reached out to Liz at Juniper. She has the latest technology and such a vast knowledge of anything that relates to the body.
I turned 70 this year and have developed sciatica in my right leg and my neuropathy in my feet has progressed. I also need improvement on my balance. I’m working with Liz. She’s excellent at figuring out what your specific issues and needs are…and then coming up with a plan.
I had struggled with a very painful knee and leg for years. I had been to several Drs and PTs with no lasting results. I came across Juniper and Dr Liz at their open house. I can honestly say Liz changed my life.
Liz is an amazing listener! She is extremely knowledgeable and never afraid to try new ways of bringing healing to her patients. I really don’t know what I would have done without her thorough expertise. She’s helped to change my life, as well as my lifestyle.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
