From the reviews

Excellent resource in the community. Everybody is so kind and willing to help you in any way they can. From the reception, the moment you step in the door till the moment you leave the door the doctor is extremely knowledgeable. I've been there for about 2 years now. I initially went for chronic ankle and knee pain.

This past fall I started seeing Dr Brittany and have since seen great improvement in the quality of my life. I first saw her after experiencing months of swelling from an injury and after one session there was a dramatic difference. I’ve continued to see Dr Brittany for my MS that I’ve had for over 20 years.

My experience with Miss Brittany thus far has been absolutely amazing! At first I was hesitant to try acupuncture to treat my chronic migraines but after several months I am so happy I started. I went from suffering 5 migraines a week for over 4 years to 2-3 a week all because of acupuncture!

Working with Dr. Brittany has been life changing for my teen son. She is great with patients of all ages and made him feel comfortable from day one. Weekly sessions have been wonderful in helping to treat his depression and anxiety.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
