From the reviews
Carrie is so knowledgeable and does such a great job! I've been here a handful of times and highly recommend if you need a massage or dry cupping done.
Soundbath in the Quantum Breathing Room was exactly what I needed at the end of a stressful work week. It calmed my body, mind, and soul in the best way. I loved it so much last week that I went again tonight — and I already know I’ll be attending more. Heather is an incredible instructor.
Heather was great at the issue of my back, shoulder, neck, feet & body pain! Thanks so very much!
Balance on Buffalo is a beautiful place to revive your energy. While there I experienced the Egg which gave me a sense of peace and relaxation. Gina spent time talking to me prior to entering the egg to determine what my needs were, so that she could properly program it to meet my needs.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
