From the reviews
The joint movement Physical Therapy center at Garnerville headed by Andrew Pereira was an exceptional experience for me. I went there for PT session after my knee replacement surgery with lots of pain and concerns. I was welcomed by Andrew and his equally caring team with reassuring smiles.
Joint Movements is a wonderful establishment. The employees are professional and attentive and will guide you through the healing process. I have known Andrew for 8+ years and in that time he has helped me through two shoulder surgeries. I highly recommend Andrew.
Thanks to Dr. Andrew and the team, I’ve seen significant improvement in my mobility, strength, and overall well-being. Whether you're recovering from surgery, dealing with chronic pain, or just trying to move better, I highly recommend Joint Movements Physical Therapy. Dr. Andrew is the best in the field! Thanks!!!
I went to 'Joint Movements" for a Left Hip problem that was affecting my every day life. Since leaving there, I have not had one single problem with my Left Hip nor any other part of the body. Andrew and his staff know exactly how to diagnosis and address the problem, no matter how big or small.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
