I had an amazing experience at Johnson Physical Therapy! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and efficient. They made scheduling appointments easy and were always so friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. The physical therapists were top-notch.

These guys are awesome! I started seeing them a few months ago for my knee and they ROCK! Fair warning - this is not like many other physical therapy clinics: they will work you and make you earn your recovery.

After tearing my ACL 2 years ago I went to JPT for PT..Lord have mercy the first few days I thought they were killing me but after 8 months I KILLED it and my knee was stronger and better than before. Camo was the BEST therapist ever along with my favorite assistant Crisanna.

★★★★★ — Marian, Jan 2025

Not enough words to say how wonderful JPT is. I have used them 2 times, both to help me recover from knee replacement. The staff is the best. From Brian and Cameron to all the techs. They do not judge, they are very encouraging when you are doing your therapy.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
