From the reviews
…I have been seeing her for over 4 years for acupuncture and cupping and her treatments make a huge difference for me. I am endurance runner and she has been able to assist me in addressing small aches and pains over the years to prevent greater injuries.
…I first saw her when she worked in another location as an initial introduction to acupuncture and cupping. She was friendly and insightful about what we could work on. We targeted certain areas to release tension and I noticed a difference immediately.
…I recently returned for a cupping session, and once again, she was professional, welcoming, and effective. Jillian draws from a range of Eastern medicine techniques and always knows exactly what’s needed. I consistently leave feeling relief, whether it’s reduced pain or complete resolution. I highly recommend Jillian.
…After a thorough intake process, she devised a treatment plan that combines acupuncture with cupping and I am feeling a lot better. She is a very caring, highly knowledgeable practitioner who takes the time to get to know you and tailor each session to what your body needs.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
