From the reviews
I've been going to Be Well for almost 4 months, seeing mainly Janelle but have seen several others including Katrina and Becca. Picked the place totally at random based on proximity to work, but don't think I could've possibly made a better choice.
I was in town just for the day and decided to book a session. From initial greeting, it was clear that Priscilla values client comfort and has a passion for understanding and improving overall health.
Ya know how sometimes you can just tell whether or not you are in good hands? Two minutes into my initial conversation with Jessica, I knew that I came to the right place. The whole experience here was terrific. I recently had my first session with Jessica.
I have dealt with chronic pain most of my life and incredibly tight muscle patterns my body has created to adapt to restricted movement. I have seen Jean-Pierre a couple of times now and every time I leave I feel like I’m walking on clouds.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
