From the reviews

I booked a deep tissue massage and myoskeletal training appointment with Nebu because I had long-standing dysfunctional neuromuscular/skeletal/fascial patterns resulting from multiple serious R knee injuries. In the first 5 minutes I knew I had made the right choice.

If you're skeptical about lymphatic drainage massages...good. So was I. But now I'm a believer—hallelujah, amen, and sign me up again. I went to Integrative Body Therapy Center for a lymphatic drainage massage with Shana, and let me just say: I walked in like the Tin Man after leg day at the gym (quads screaming,…

What a hidden gem! Shana has such special hands. I felt very relaxed the moment she started working on my lymphatic drainage massage. It’s located in a fun part of the Old City and you can walk straight over to Franklin Ice Cream afterwards :)

Massage therapist was super friendly, actually read the entirety of my sheet I filled out with info on preferences and goals, and focused on the areas I requested. She went the full hour and even started me early since I arrived early, nice.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
