From the reviews

I was in a bike accident years ago, and have had lingering injuries ever since. I've done it all - multiple surgeries, PRP, stem cells, so much physical therapy I might pay at least three of their salaries, etc etc. The list is so long that I know you will stop reading. So, yeah, Brittany at Renew. BRITTANY AT RENEW.

The best place on the world. A lot of the things I could do this year are because of Brittany. I came in after back injury, on the third month of physical therapy that wasn't giving much results. So it was recommended by my pt specialist to try acupuncture.

★★★★★ — Yuliia, Dec 2025

Initially I was a bit wary but curious and open to any relief from my shoulder pain. Brittany is professional, kind, meticulous and has a great sense of humor which immediately put me at ease. The office space is comfortable and soothing and the treatments very focused and non-threatening.

★★★★★ — Jo-Ann, Jun 2025

Brittany is amazing! I was terrified of needles, but she’s so gentle, warm, and explains everything in a way that makes you feel comfortable. The office is beautiful, calming, and always on time. Maura is super friendly and helpful, too.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
