Dr Torrey is simply amazing. I have never met any physician who cares so deeply about her patients nor has the skills, tools and knowledge to help with what you specifically need as a whole person. She listens and provides practical guidance which complement the needling and cupping work.

Dr Pauline Torrey is an educated and gifted doctor. She is very holistic in her approach and spends the time to really understand her patients and their whole body health. I would define it as a very curated doctor experience as she focuses on your health in a way that can be quite transformational.
There are so many wonderful things I could write here about Dr. Torrey, but I think the thing I love the most about her is the ability she has to hold space for women. I’ve had individual sessions with her and have also joined her women’s circle. Her guidance in my life has truly been a gift.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
