From the reviews

Amanda has been amazing. I have worked with her more than a year for neck, shoulder and ankle issues. She provides a number of helpful treatments from regular PT therapies, to cupping and dry needling. I have been able to increase my mobility and reduce soreness. I would highly recommend her.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Amanda Hoffman at InstaCare Physical Therapy. I have had chronic pain in my hip and lower back and she has helped me ease the pain and work on strengthening the muscles associated with the area to help prevent future pain and flare-ups.

★★★★★ — Cathy, Feb 2025

If I could give a sixth star I would. Dr. Hoffman did a number of different types of treatments when I tweaked my upper back and neck. I clench my jaw when I sleep so my shoulders and upper back are often tight, and prone to injury from overexertion. Seems to always happen when lifting heavy things in my garage.

★★★★★ — Christopher, May 2026

Dr. Amanda has been extremely courteous and kind at each of my therapy sessions. She has worked with me to find the what exercises and treatments best work with my needs.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
