From the reviews
Malik is truly God sent. First, my son was being serviced for excruciating growing pains that hindered his ability to play full out at his basketball games and after seeing his significant improvement after even one session I was like sign me up!
Malike is a wonderful massage therapist. He is very knowledgeable about the anatomy and physiology of the human body. I believe he truly knows the best way to provide relief to tight muscle groups and work though areas of injury. He is also very kind and accommodating.
Malike has the hands of an angel. The best massage I've ever had and now I'm hooked. You can't really compare it to a deep tissue massage given elsewhere because Malike is like a heat-seeker; finding the knots and using extensive techniques to address all the muscles that are contributing to my pain.
If you’re looking for an experienced massage therapist, Malike is your guy! I’ve been having issues with my shoulder after having rotator cuff surgery, going to Malike has improved my range of motion more than I expected . I will most definitely be a returning customer!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
