From the reviews
Miss Kristin Cabranes is very accommodating to me and my husband needs. She carefully listen and gave us good advice. We have a wonderful experience. We highly recommend their service who want to try Accupuncture and Cupping sessions.
I have arthritis (degenerative disc disease) in my upper and lower spine. I see a chiropractor regularly. I only started acupuncture a few months ago, but so far In Balance has been AWESOME—Rui is the MAN! I’ve been seen by two specialists here, and after both of them I left feeling way better.
I am new to acupuncture. I had heard many wonderful things about it but I wasn't convinced until I went to In Balance Acupuncture & Wellness Center, LLC. I have had low back pain for a very long time as well as shoulder and neck pain from sitting all day at a desk. I also go for regular chiropractic, and massage.
Great Place! I am a Disabled U.S. Army Veteran I had gotten a referral from the VA (Department of Veteran Affairs) due to my headaches, chronic neck pain, back pain (bulge disc, degenerative disc, muscle spasms), carpal tunnel, and other issues. Dr. Ray has set up a great personalized therapy plan.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
