…I’d never before tried dry needling and cupping as therapy in addition to regular PT but I’m glad I tried it! It has helped me so much. The entire staff is made up of caring, helpful, amazing professionals that are genuinely interested in your well being! I highly recommend them!
…They use hands-on therapy techniques (massage, e-stim, cupping, etc.) to ease pain and encourage healing. This personalized care was invaluable to my recovery and I can’t help but wonder how much faster I could have recovered from previous injuries had this practice been the norm.
My name is Kandace Tisdale and I visited this site on June 8 for the very first time. My therapist was a cool student that was very caring and nice. He made sure that I was comfortable and he also explained to me what he was doing during my services. I would recommend this facility at North Rhett for your services.
Imagine PT is the best I've been to. The staff is professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. I can now move my shoulder and do NOT have to have surgery. Everyone is helpful and is truly interested in my recovery. Taylor, is an awesome therapist and Leo is the best ambassador! I recommend HIGHLY!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
