From the reviews

This was my third visit to House Nine, and I will definitely be coming back again. The staff is always welcoming, and the LMTs are fantastic. Kelly was my LMT on the last two visits, and she is awesome!

I really enjoyed my full-body massage session with Kiesa. Her technique was truly impressive, and I appreciated her ability to customize the pressure to target the tension in my back and the right side of my shoulder. The deep tissue pressure was exactly what I needed, and I could feel the knots gradually releasing.

★★★★★ — Maddie, Jan 2025

Incredible. I booked a massage because I use my body a lot for work and wanted to do something therapeutic for my back. I was booked with Marijean and had an absolutely amazing experience with her. She listened to my situation and thoroughly understood what areas of my body needed attention.

The people here are wonderful. It's a very inviting space. I'm a few months late on this review. I treated myself to a massage. The therapist was very mindful and listened to my concerns. I had a bit of back discomfort after my massage, but the overall experience was still pleasant.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
