“I previously had dry needling done at a physical therapy clinic with good results but Joe’s technique is miles above.”

From the reviews
Honestly, I’ve never in my life heard of what Dr. Hoots does. All I know is that one day I went jogging and tweaked my back. I thought nothing of it at the time so I continued to jog. The next morning I could barely get out of bed. Spasms going crazy and my back just shut down.
I’ve been seeing Joe for the past 4 years, and I can honestly say he’s been a huge help. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and takes the time to ask the right questions so each session feels tailored to what I need that day.
I’ve been seeing Joe for treatment during my post-surgery recovery and had a great experience. Joe is attentive, and tailored each session to my healing needs. Acupuncture helped reduce pain and swelling and supported a smoother, faster recovery. The clinic is calm, professional, and welcoming. Highly recommend!
I saw Joe for some chronic hip and lower back pain that had flared up one weekend, to the point where I could barely walk or reach for a glass of water without wincing. Within two sessions that painful flare had reduced by 90%, if not fully!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
