From the reviews

I highly recommend Snow if you are looking for an acupuncturist. I have been seeing her for about 6 months and she has significantly helped me with a recent health concern. Previously I was seeing a different acupuncturist but I switched for convenience (and I had read all of her prior reviews).

Snow played a big role in my fertility journey. My first ivf cycle I had no viable embryos. I came to Snow after this cycle and we started acupuncture for 3 months before going onto more egg retrieval cycles, by the end of my next two cycles I had 5 highly graded embryos- two with perfect grades !

I can’t say enough great things about Hima Acupuncture and Snow Xia! I went to Hima during my IVF fertility journey. Snow was very knowledgeable about the IVF process and helped me every step of the way, right up to the weeks before my due date as she prepared me and my body for labor.

Dr. Snow at Hima Acupuncture is amazing! This was my first ever experience with acupuncture and she was able to support me in healing a health issue I'd been dealing with for a bit, and only a couple of months. She is so kind and creates a very warm, open, and relaxed environment.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
