Why Holistic Point Acupuncture is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “NCCAOM) Certified Yoga Instructor Clean Needle Technique Certified Deb is a licensed massage and bodywork therapist with over 20 years of experience specializing in Swedish, deep tissue, and prenatal massage, along with cupping therapy.…” source →

From the reviews

I have spent a lot of money going to chiropractors, massage therapists and so on. My back pain has not changed for years. Talia has been awesome! The combination of acupuncture and cupping has made me feel better than I have in years.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars – Life-Changing Care I cannot say enough amazing things about Holistic Point Acupuncture, especially Dr. Talia Silva Santisteban. Two years ago, I injured my spine, and since then I’ve struggled every single day with severe chronic pain.

★★★★★ — Natalie, Feb 2026

Dr. Talia is AMAZING! She answered all of the questions I had and she made me feel so comfortable by explaining exactly what she was doing, while she was doing it. This was my first time getting acupuncture, and I was a little nervous.

★★★★★ — Brittney, Mar 2023

I’ve been seeing Talia for a few months now and she’s simply amazing. She’s very knowledgeable, has a degree in Chinese Medicine and has medical knowledge that backs up the treatment plan.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
