From the reviews
We worked with Allicen after I had my second baby, to help clear several allergens that were upsetting his stomach, as well as muscle testing and clearing the family when we got sick, and treating me for the plethora of things that comes with postpartum and FT breastfeeding.
Allicen is not only a very nice person but also excellent at her work. I have chronic shoulder and neck pain from weight lifting, stress of work, the way I sleep. With acupuncture and cupping I get immediate relief and deep relaxation. She also helps me tackle other areas to stay healthy. I cannot recommend enough.
Allicen is simply the BEST! She has an incredible depth of knowledge about the body and how to support it in healing itself. Just as important, her bedside manner is exceptional—she makes you feel comfortable right away and truly listens to whatever concern you bring.
Getting my energy and my foot ready for Peru 🇵🇪 I had 2 surgeries and Allicen has helped so much. If you’ve ever wondered whether acupuncture actually works — it does. And not all acupuncturists are the same.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
