From the reviews
I came to the HeCares medicine center to treat a muscle sprain and some lower back pain. I consulted with Dr. Eva Cong who was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to! She helped diagnose the areas that needed work, listened to my concerns, and came up with an excellent treatment plan for my needs!
I strained a muscle in my back in the gym, which caused pain and tightness when bending over. So I visited Dr. Cong for acupuncture and cupping, and the treatment provided significant relief.
My family and I have been going to Dr Hu for over 3 years now and I have recommended him to anyone that is the need of accupuncture or sports related injuries. My daughter is an avid soccer player and over the years has had a number of reoccuring stress injuries, which we treated with the regular methods of…
I was referred by another doctor to Dr. Frank He for 2 things: broken kneecap surgery recovery + sudden deafness on my left ear (happened 2 weeks after the kneecap surgery). Only after 2 or 3 times acupuncture sections, I felt less stuck inside my knee while practicing walking - very effective!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
