From the reviews

I had an amazing massage with my masseuse, Kim. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. The location is inside the shopping center where Trader Joe’s and Starbucks is located. I’m actually blown away from the service (from the introduction to the services to the water and mints at the end).

I was lucky to get an appointment within a day's notice since they're usually booked for a couple of weeks. Demetri made sure to consult what my sore spots were and if there were any issues. She made sure to spend extra time on those spots and at the end, it did feel like I was more relaxed.

All of the massage therapists are very professional, super friendly, and do great work. The front staff are always friendly as well. It's a rare occurrence to get a cancellation but when it happens they make sure to call immediately.

★★★★★ — Dustin, Jul 2018

I get monthly deep tissue massages at Elements Massage. My regular therapist is Tom and I’ve had a wonderful experience with him so far. He’s knowledgeable and provides care suited to my needs.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
