From the reviews
I couldn’t say enough great things about this place to express how positive my experience was as a patient here! Take a look at the rest of the reviews - there’s a reason they get such positive feedback! Over the course of just a few months, they were able to help me fix a shoulder problem I’ve been having for years.
The staff here is great! They met all my goals for physical therapy and were very accommodating with scheduling appointments. Marcel was great to work with and Hannah is amazing! Both easy to talk too and very helpful throughout my time here.
I’m a 50 something male that has worked at a computer for my entire career. I started getting lower back pain 8 months ago. I figured it would go away by itself but instead it got worse.
Health Quest in Lake Orion is a wonderful physical therapy facility! Dana worked with me and I have really improved! She is extremely knowledgeable and understanding! Hannah and Traci were very good as well, supervising the last ten minutes of my sessions.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
