I receive dry needling from Christie Kornegay (Local Point Physical Therapy). The relief Christie has provided to me is immeasurable; she has resolved years of compounded muscle tension from both TMJ and desk-job pains.
I have been working very closely with the co-founders of Health House, Lori and Emily, as we approach the grand opening of the Cobblestone Village location. They are incredibly driven and focused women committed to bringing wellness to their community within Rolesville and the surrounding areas.
I had the opportunity to be treated my multiple provider from getting IV treatment from Missy, pcp services from Daniel and physical therapy from Shilpa. All of them are incredibly talented and knowledgeable. They treated me with care and respect.
For those who are interested in taking their longevity journey to the next level, I highly recommend talking to Lori about the peptide therapies that Health House offers. I did my initial research and did not feel comfortable ordering from online sources.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
