From the reviews
Dr. Rose is knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate and an excellent acupuncturist. She has been so helpful in restoring my wrist after two surgeries. I thought I would have to have a third surgery, but now I am no longer in pain and my range of motion is very good. I had a bout of shingles. Wow, was it painful.
Walking through the door I felt a sense of calm and peace. Dr. Rose is very welcoming and thorough. She truly cares about your pain and recovery. She offers a full service approach to acupuncture and cupping, guasha and seeds, as well as Chinese herbs.
My husband has many health issues but severe back pain warranted a visit with Dr Rose.He has had acupuncture in the past by other personnel but we had to find a new one since moving to the area 3ctears ago..luckily I found her. She was patient, calm, explained and accommodated him from the start.
I have been a patient of Dr. Rose for 6 months and will be a lifetime advocate of chinese medicine and her incredible practice because of my experience! She started out with a thorough evaluation of my health and worked with me to understand, interpret results and pinpoint root cause of my symptoms.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
