While battling with autoimmune system disorder, I was fortunate to find Healing Rituals through great reviews from Yelp. On top of acupuncture and cupping treatments, I was taught to discover my own healing energy via meditation creating my own Chi-ball.
I went to Healing Rituals for the first time to attend the Self Love/ Self Care, Tea and guided meditation session. I was so impressed by how beautiful and peaceful this place is. It's a safe place for ladies to gather and detach from the daily grind for a few hours.
Malina is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. My friend purchased a Groupon for the crystal bed meditation and we were treated very well by Malina who also offered her expertise about energy and explained how this meditation would help us out therapeutically.
Melina is a miracle worker. I been wanting to get cupping and overall an energy healing experience for the longest and she gave me just that. She walked me through my first cupping experience and she was soo nice she took all my fears away. BTW not painful at all! I found her through google and happy I did.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
