Ive been here twice so far. I absolutely love this place! As soon as I walk in, I immediately feel the calm energy. It’s warm, cozy and serene. Ashley did a wonderful job working on my knots while still being gentle enough to provide an overall relaxing massage. My neck and shoulders felt brand new.
I come regularly to Harmony on Hope because the therapists are consistently knowledgeable, present with me, and have wonderful skills. I usually see Nikki because she is so intentional with her efforts, but I haven’t been to a therapist there without their own magical skill set.
Went for an anniversary couple’s massage. My partner had Sara. I had Matt. Matt and Sara were so personable. Before the session started they sat with us and asked us areas we wanted extra work on, if any particular essential oils we preferred and how much pressure we preferred.
Highly recommend Harmony on Hope! Very pleasant staff. My therapist was Kirsten. She was amazing. The perfect balance of relaxation and pressure. It was hands down the best massage I've ever had. I felt amazing walking out. Being an orthopedic physical therapist, I am critical of other clinicians who work on me.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
