…So I found Alex because he is trained in Holistic Therapy - Acu-Point Massage Therapy, Therapeutic Yoga, Chinese Cupping, Muscle Reintegration, and Meditation. I have seen him twice now and I can tell you that he has helped me tremendously! He understands the body and how it works and knows how to manipulate tissue.
Cory has provided me with therapeutics that changed my pain from a 10 to sometimes no pain whatsoever but even at a 3-4 level I can now do more. After 6 weeks I started to dream about life again and took a 10 hour road trip. I realize I have a congenital back and hip issue that took over my ability to feel functional.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
