From the reviews

The practitioners here are some of the best. I’ve witnessed Dr. Scott go from caring for a patient that had just come from the emergency room, to adjusting a large athletic patient. In both cases his range of empathy and knowledge were on full display. From lower back, to the delicate neck, this man has you covered.

Im 31, I repair cars for a living along with cutting, splitting and stacking over 20 cord of wood each year to heat my house so, needless to say, my body staying strong and healthy is very important to me.

Dr Scott Schulz and the staff have taken great care of me! I used to go to another local chiropractor and had the same problems with my back over and over again. After Dr Scott's diagnosis and treatment I have almost no back pain. The staff is also excellent and friendly!

I started seeing Dr Scott in October 2017 when I had an unbearable tension headache. He has done acupuncture on me and I know I’m in good hands with him. Perfect amount of time for an appointment too. Now with text message reminders of appointments it makes it easier and convenient to remember!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
