“I am welcomed with a lovely cup of tea, warm compress for my back and shoulders in a calm and soothing atmosphere.”
From the reviews
For several months, I have gone to Mindful Garden and I plan to continue every month. I am welcomed with a lovely cup of tea, warm compress for my back and shoulders in a calm and soothing atmosphere.
I had a massage with Beth last week and it was amazing! I will be scheduling another in the future. Beth made me feel super heard and it was extremely comfortable. They gave me a warm compress to use when I first got there to help relax my muscles and they offered me different teas to try if I wanted.
Absolutely amazing! Marilee is super nice and informative! The aqua massage was magical! I will be recommending this to friends and family!!
I’ve been going to Lauren for years for my shoulders and neck. When I heard she was working at Mindful Garden I had to go in for another round of acupuncture. She’s very friendly and welcoming to everyone when they first come in.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
