Why Grace Acupuncture & Wellness is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. From the reviews
Grace is my favorite acupuncturist in town! I found her through a friend of mine who's had a great progress on his neck pain. She always greets me with warm herbal tea. She sometimes makes me a cup of coffee while I wait for my session to start. Her needles are mostly painless. I also love the cupping sessions.
Went in to see Dr. Grace today on my birthday for a "welcome to 42" thrown out shoulder blade and severe pain in my neck. She was phenomenal every step of the way and really makes it a point to handle your target areas and then some. Even did cupping on me to help me even further and that was a hit!
Grace does magic! I literally told her that after my very first session, and I keep coming back for a reason. I originally went in with significant back pain and a sore neck; between the acupuncture and the cupping, the relief has been incredible.
I had never tried acupuncture before coming here, and she made the experience so positive from start to finish. She was kind, understanding, and took the time to explain everything clearly.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
