…I received a deep tissue massage with cupping (i.e., suction cups on back) to help alleviate back pain. Throughout the experience Julie was very diligent and engaged.
Really love the spa so far. I came twice, both therapists I had were so good. Highly recommend cuping therapy. My soreness almost went away. You can easily find a slot the day you call. You can ask for the receipt to claim the health insurance if it covers. The room is clean.
My third time back and my back always feels so much better! I’ve had a total of four ruptured disc and two medical procedures and this place by far gives me the most relief!

What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
