From the reviews
I can not begin to thank Gina enough for showing me the path to Acupuncture! For years I have struggled with back pain and insomnia, trying everything you can think of. I finally caved out of desperation and gave acupuncture and fire cupping a try.
Gina is simply the best, a modern day sage. She is an acupuncturist and an expert in Chinese Medicine, and to top it a phenomenal human-being. Gina has helped me on my health and wellness journey through weekly acupuncture and cupping treatments. I am more in touch with my body, now more than ever.
Gina was recommended to me to help me with additional recovery from a severe traumatic brain injury that I experienced several years ago. Although I made strides in my recovery, I was still suffering from lingering symptoms. I finally agreed to give acupuncture a try and I’ll never look back.
I can't recommend Gina and her services enough as she is always super professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and pleasure to be around. I have received acupuncture and cupping from Gina since 2019 and have not only benefited from treatment but also learned a ton!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
