Went to Dawn for a facial and Red Light therapy. Dawn asked what my concerns were and offered several different options. I went with mini-cupping. The treatment was very relaxing and I finished with a session in the Red Light therapy bed.
I initially found Dawn via a Google search for manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) massage providers in my area. It was no coincidence as I believe that we meet the people we are supposed to encounter. Walking into her studio is a peaceful and calm experience that it is evident that Dawn has worked hard to create.
I can't think of anything that would have made my experience at Anew Dawn any better! Her space is welcoming and serene . It is uplifting, calm and immaculate. And that is all a reflection of who Dawn is. As an excellent aesthetician she chose the right treatment for me after discussing my concerns.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
