From the reviews
Jolene has an amazing team! Her experience and expertise clearly shows as all my accident related injuries have felt much better thanks to her great team! Sarah Rose, Dorothy, Dora and David all complement each other for the best one stop shop for therapy that a patient could hope for!
I so love this place and everyone here! They're consistently pleasant and helpful! Always willing to try to help me alleviate my aches/pains anyway they can and I've tried most treatment options from acupuncture to CBD cream, stretches, heat, exercises, cupping, scraping, and massages. Yes! They do it all!
My experience at Garden State Physical Therapy was amazing. I started going there to try a new therapy for my foot. I am very active and wanted to be able to continue my exercise, activities and ballroom dancing. I went to Podiatrists and orthopedic doctors and no one was able to help me.
I have been getting treatments from Brian, Ken, Dorthy and Moti for the last couple months for numbness in both legs/feet. I had been attempting to address this issue on my own for about 2 years with little to no improvement. These folks are legitimate healers. My symptoms have improved with every session.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
