From the reviews
I went for accupuncture at this location for the first time last week and saw Dr. Gaffney. I recently moved here from Las Vegas and went to Las Vegas Integrative Medicine, which I love. She talked with me and thoroughly read through my paperwork to address all of my needs (Pots/autoimmune/grief).
Dr. Gaffney is amazing! I went to an orthopedist for a sports injury and they just told me that it was swollen and that I couldn’t do anything. Nice... It continued to hurt for about a month. I finally got acupuncture done by Dr.
I'm so glad I found this doctor!!! We are relatively new to the area, and my acupuncturist where I used to live had retired a few years ago... so it was time to find an acupuncturist here anyway!
When I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (“GBS”) my primary doctor recommended I see Dr. Katie Gaffney for acupuncture treatments. Dr. Gaffney’s acupuncture treatments have been fantastic! The treatments reduced both the severity and frequency of the GBS flareups. When I first saw Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
