From the reviews
I received acupuncture and cupping from Alessandra a few days ago and had a wonderful experience. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable, gentle and kind during our session. As a former massage therapist I have received acupuncture from a variety of providers and was impressed by her skill.
I had an appointment with Aidan Paulk for acupuncture, massage and glass cupping. He was so professional and attentive during our session. I greatly appreciated his extensive knowledge and willingness to walk me through his process, as well as answer any questions I had.
I have been taking the Premium acupuncture sessions with Aidan that include massage, cupping and acupuncture for a few months now. I have had massages growing up all the while in multiple places and different modalities as well and I have to say that Aidan's knowledge of human body is extensive and his hands are…
The real deal! Aidan was excellent for my injured elbows - doctors found nothing wrong, but the pain persisted until I couldn't sleep without pain killers. This was my first time with acupuncture, but I could not be more impressed.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
