Stopped by a couple of years ago for shoulder pain issue that pain pills weren’t solving. Did 2 sessions👍they were able to fix my shoulder pain with massage and suction cups. The suction cups at first were intense, almost too painful, but necessary. 😅👍🙏after the first session, almost all my pain was solved.
This place is so amazing. Do not skip on the cupping massage - it helps aches so much! I have a lot of ailments, pain and discomfort and Ariane melted it all away somehow in only 90 minutes. I can’t wait until my next visit. My massage at Deep Tissue Massage & Spa was rejuvenating, relaxing and customize just for me.
One of the best massage spas in Salt Lake City. The location is clean, quiet and comfortable. The massage therapists are professional and skilled. I love how there are so many different types of massage available such as cupping, Sarga, deep tissue, hot stone massage etc. They also have an infrared sauna!
This is the only place that I go for massages anymore. There are a lot of things to love as long as you’re the type of person that wants deep tissue muscle work. I particularly enjoy the Fijian style massage where the therapist uses their feet to apply pressure.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
