From the reviews

Natalie is absolutely amazing! She takes time to listen to your every need/concern and will address everything. She explains what she is doing beforehand so you fully understand exactly what is happening. If you are at all skeptical or unsure, she will ease your mind. She allows you to feel calm and comfortable.

Five stars? I wish I could add at least five more. First of all, I have never left a review of anything or anywhere ever. I don't take part in most of this new age tech. I am what my friends and family call a dinosaur. But my visit with Natalie and Scot was amazing and just what my life needed.

Please! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Hello! Wanted to share my wonderful experience with Family Care Acupuncture (which has now been about 2 years I've been going to only her), due to bad injuries with my shoulder/ knee.

★★★★★ — Star, Jul 2023

Before visiting Family Care Acupuncture, I had never tried acupuncture and was quite skeptical about it. However, in a moment of desperation to find relief from my pain and anxiety, I decided to give it a try. I am beyond grateful that I did!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
