Joy is amazing! Her massage and cupping sessions have truly made a difference in how my body feels day to day—less tightness, better movement, and lasting results. She’s skilled, intentional, and genuinely cares about her clients. She knows exactly how to target problem areas and I always leave feeling better.

Joy makes you feel comfortable from the start. She listens to your body and your needs. She explains each step and checks in during the session. You feel safe and supported the entire time. I work out regularly, and her expertise and care with massage make all my soreness disappear.

★★★★★ — Ricardo, Dec 2025

First time today and I plan to return! Joy is a skilled massage therapist with good communication. Great experience! Easy to schedule online, I arrived a few minutes early and we got to it. Walked (floated?) out feeling lighter and looser and JOYful.

★★★★★ — Jessica, Mar 2026

Joy is an amazing massage therapist and a beautiful person! I have had the pleasure of being in Joy’s care for four years and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! My family has also benefitted from her craft and care and have all received the best therapy for where they are when they go in to see Joy.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
